The health and happiness of your family is incredibly important to us.
We are Board Certified. Every patient is seen by one of our eight board certified pediatric providers.
We have an on-site X-ray. We have trained professionals to do x-rays along with both rapid and regular throat cultures and flu tests.
We respect your time. We never double book appointments — time is set aside for sick calls and we provide double time for adolescent care.
We're committed to you. While our office hours may end, a physician or nurse practitioner from our practice is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
We keep you connected. We use an electronic appointment system that sends reminders when your next visit is approaching.
We prepare for the Flu. We operate Flu clinics with scheduled appointments to prevent overcrowding and to ensure that everyone that signs up for a shot receives one.
We have great neighbors. Our office has the unique opportunity to share the premises of Just Kids RI Sick Care. Just Kids is open 365 days a year. We care for children through 17 years of age. Please call to speak with an on-call provider first.
We love our community. We support the local community by sponsoring the local youth sports teams.
We take most insurances. Please call and check with our staff.
Expecting parents are encouraged to book a complimentary interview with a Pediatrician at Blackstone Valley Pediatrics. Interviews are scheduled at the end of the day and expectant parents are encouraged to bring a list of questions and concerns for discussion. Should you choose us as your Pediatrician, just inform the hospital staff taking care of you at the time of delivery and they will contact our office.
We are taking new patients ages 0 - 12 years old. We require complete medical records before we can make a new patient appointment. We can have you sign a release with our office to request records or at your current PCP. Once records are received, the patient is entered into our system. Vaccines are entered to verify the patient is up to date or missing any immunizations. Prior to the first office visit, our providers review the records to learn about your child and any past medical problems that may have occurred prior to being our patient.
